Roger B. Moore, Jr., PhD - Clinical and Forensic Psychologist - The Center for Psychological Wellness Hello Fellow CBC’ers:
I am Roger Moore and I have ridden with CBC since the team’s early days (sporting the original white jerseys!); I have been a Team CBC sponsor for about a dozen years.  I love riding with the team and sharing the comradery of hanging out after rides, as I am sure you all do.  When I am not hammering pedals I am a clinical psychologist and I have a practice called “The Center for Psychological Wellness, PA” ( which is located in Cary (across from Western Wake Medical Center).
I provide treatment for adults, adolescents, couples and families.  I have extensive experience in helping people with anxiety that presents in a variety of ways such as panic, phobias, post-traumatic stress, obsessive/compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety.  I am adept at helping folks address issues such as anger, chronic pain, weight control, depression and ADHD, and I work quite a bit with people who are struggling with relationship issues and personality disorders.  I also work with couples and families who are facing various challenges including relationship issues, parent/child struggles, separation and divorce dynamics, co-parenting and integrating blended families.
If you find that you are facing some of life’s challenges that can’t quite be fixed with long rides on your bike, or know of someone else who may be in need of mental health assistance, I would be happy to see if there are ways I can be of help.

Pinnacle Nutrition
Hello, meet Russell Copersito from Holly Springs, NC.  Russell has enjoyed the privilege of riding with the CBC group on many occasions in years past.  This is an amazing group and he is delighted to be able to rejoin the group on a regular basis.  Russell is a long time cyclist and recently threw his helmet into the lake as a Triathlete.  Russell is currently a coach with Lifetime Athletic in Raleigh as a cycling lead for the cycle club there.  Russell is a husband to Jennifer (12 years) and father of three amazing children, Giada (10) and twin boys Luca and Nicholas (7).  The kids are all active and love being on their bikes with dad.  Giada is a soccer athlete playing in Holly Springs for Wake FC and Luca and Nicholas love playing baseball for Holly Springs.
Until recently Russell has enjoyed the ups and downs as a police officer with the City of Raleigh. In April 2015 he was injured in the line of duty and discovered a year later than he could no longer handle the rigors of patrol.  Russell has always wanted to serve his community and help others.  He is very active in the Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation helping to raise money for the families of fallen police officers.  Russell has always had a passion for sports but has recently discovered his passion for fitness and healthy living.   After being injured, Russell gained weight and struggled to get rid of it.  He knows how hard it is to steer off track when life gets in the way.  Russell discovered how nutrition can help in his fitness, health and new racing lifestyle.  Russell used great sports nutrition to train for his first olympic triathlon in April 2016 where he increased his average bike speed by over 2 miles per hour over his previous personal best prior to his injury.    In searching for a new career after having to retire from the Police Department it was only natural that Russell continue helping others by sharing what had helped him so much!
In December 2016 Russell and his wife Jennifer opened Pinnacle Nutrition in Cary, NC.  Their goal is to help those who are looking to not only lose weight but to help the community adopt a healthier, more active lifestyle without the craziness of a fad diet.  Pinnacle Nutrition is a place where anyone can come in and enjoy a delicious smoothie and tea all day long.  They feature fun fit camps, challenges and coaching to all who are looking to be healthy and be the best them they can be.  Russell specializes in sports nutrition due to his training in cycling and triathlon races.  Pinnacle Nutrition has adopted a similar niche working with multiple athletes locally.  Pinnacle Nutrition will feature a weekly evening ride as the sunlight allows.
